KIRKLAND, Wash. – The YMCA Of Greater Seattle is accusing the Kirkland Police Department of “excessive force” after two officers are seen on video slamming down a 14-year-old boy during an arrest. This all happened at the Kirkland Teen Union Building or KTUB on September 5. The YMCA said the video is an example of a safe space being violated with excessive force. It shows two police officers grab a 14-year-old boy and throw him down before handcuffing him.
