    • 360ARMOR TESTUDO: A think-tank to create a positive movement in the LEO community
The Romans had a formation called Testudo. It means "tortoise" in Latin, and it was a way of safely moving forward as a group in battle so that together, they take ground without loss. There's plenty of evidence to show that we wait for help from the outside, meaning our LE leaders and local, state, and federal government, things won't get better. In fact, it's obvious that things are getting worse. 360ARMOR has a vision to positively impact the entire LEO culture nationwide. To get there, we need your help. Tell us how we can make 360ARMOR better and stronger. Got good ideas for 360ARMOR deliverables, chapter planting, advertisement, fundraising, and more? Join this group and share your thoughts and ideas with us.

    • 360ARMOR Writer's Group
360ARMOR Command Central is exploring the idea of creating our own LEO Fitness & Wellness content website inside our future 360ARMOR LEO magnet site, www.theleohood.org. If we can pull it off, what we'd like to do is build an attractive, interesting, and informative source for prospective LEO members to be able to read our own publications (articles and stories) about LEO fitness and wellness on all fronts, and also encouraging articles that build up their spirits and cause some hope. If you are a writer, if you ever wanted to be a writer, or if you know a writer who you think would be a good fit, please join this group. If we do this, we'd also be reaching out to good writers on our topics of interest and offering our site for their writing. Most article writers, even good ones, on the internet don't expect compensation for getting their stories out, and even if they have publication venues, are always interested in getting their work republished elsewhere. Even if you're not a writer, if there are writers whose articles you enjoy, post their names and maybe a URL of one of their articles, and we'll reach out to them. Inside this group, we'll help each other with our writing efforts, and we'll work together to get this good idea launched. So if you've ever considered sharing your knowledge, wisdom and insights in written form, please join!

    • Armored to Withstand All: The 360ARMOR Program. Cohort #1
Controlled emotional investment, managed relationships, and 360-degree fitness/wellness. You've read the New Member Introduction & Guide so you understand the basics of our three-part program to help you achieve more at work and at home, but without all the costs. It's challenging but rewarding. With time and effort, this way of policing and living the LEO life can become second nature. Join this group learn from us and one-another how to put it all in play. This is a cohort-based group. As soon as there are 50 members, the group will be closed for those members only. Like a police academy, that cohort (or class) will learn together.

    • Christian Ethics in Policing
Christian Ethics is a type of moral philosophy (or systematic way) to live a morally grounded life. Many people who study ethics (including non-Christians) see Christian ethics as the most morally defensible way to live. There is even a branch of atheism, "Christian Atheism" (google it) whose adherents intentionally pursue a Christian ethics lifestyle. They do so because they believe this approach to life as the most morally solid model one out there. On the other hand, there are Christians who believe it is not possible to be a police officer and a Christian. Do you have a moral code that guides the way you police? You should, and it should be so coherent that you can easily articulate it...both the hows and the whys. Because of all that we're called to do, police work is the most difficult job to perform without experiencing inner turmoil about what is right and what is wrong. Whether you're Christian or not, this group is a great place for you to explore the hows and the whys of your policing style, and help you build or refine your own systematic moral philosophy.

    • Cop Humor
Boy we sure hope we don't regret starting this group. After all, some pretty warped stuff happens around us, and some say (okay, most say) that it warps us too. But then again, the people who study us--you know, psychologists, sociologists, divorce attorneys and the like, they all agree that humor is a really good coping mechanism. So join this group for a good laugh. But do us a favor and avoid nasty language, avoid racially insensitive stuff, avoid sexually demeaning stuff, and the like.

    • Day Shift
Getting a full night's sleep has it's price. Call to call, day shift is not for the weak of heart. You better like report writing too. Share your dayshift experiences with others who know what it's like.

    • Department Policies
Policies should work for us, and not the other way around. Unfortunately, all of us have had to work under policies that really suck. This group is a great cauldron to help you help your department get the most out of your policy manual. Whatever the subject matter, if you've got some great policies or some terrible ones, join this group and share them here. With the hope of making policies better for the fellow LEOs out there who have to work under them, we'll beat them up and kick them around.

    • F.T.O.
Regardless of what rank you've achieved, if you're a Field Training Officer, you're experiencing the greatest amount of leadership opportunity that there is in all of law enforcement. Sitting in a patrol car side-by-side with a naive-yet-hopeful young buck who's relying on you to pour knowledge and wisdom into him/ her, it can be a real wilderness of mirrors. Join this group to help you make the best of it.

    • Grave Shift
Where new policies come from. It's a population and reality that very few know. And it's a good thing Admin is asleep. If you're a member of Grave shift, let us hear what's happening on your beat.

    • Healthy Dieting and Supplements
The Journal of Preventative Medicine says 40% of LEOs are obese and twice that number are overweight. It figures. After all, high stress, crazy work hours, poor sleep...as a group, we're really not so good at self-care. One of the quickest ways to get your body out of the loser's bracket is to manage your diet. Healthy eating (not just "dieting) and wise food supplementation is a great investment...in you! Join this group to get started and help other members.
